Day Rides in Virginia Lakes

Ride through all of beautiful Virginia Lakes Canyon and climb up to Burro Pass for lunch to a grassy meadow with an overlook of Summit Lake and the peaks of northern Yosemite.

You have the choice of going to either the Bodie Overlook or Blue Lake. Both rides are suitable for beginner riders and pass through the beautiful sagebrush flora of the eastern Sierra with stunning views.

This ride takes you up into the Virginia Lakes Canyon where you see stunning views of Blue Lake, ride right by a historic miner’s cabin, and stop at beautiful Cooney Lake.

A stunning 4-hour ride to the top of Burro Pass where you can look out on Summit Lake, the peaks of northern Yosemite, alpine lakes, and the mountains of Virginia Lakes Canyon.
